Safety
The dance boxes are extremely sturdy and can hold more weight than people can fit on them (we've tried it =). The plexiglass is double paned, 3/8" thick sheets, resulting in 3/4" of plexiglass on each box. Multiple people can jump and dance on them without breaking them.
Additionally, they are only 1 foot tall, so if anyone falls off, there is not far to fall. |
Origin of the Dance Boxes
Nothing makes me happier than when I'm dancing on a light up dance box. So I decided to make these for my wedding, with much help and direction from my architect friend Ernesto. The dance boxes far exceeded my expectations. Guests dance on them all night. They add color and ambiance to an event that is beautiful and fun; they inspire people to dance and create a special experience.
I decided to rent them out. I live in Buena Park in Chicago.
